The Adler 30-1 can handle leather up to about 7/16 inch thick, with the ability to sew in any direction, forwards, backwards, etc due to the revolving presser foot.  These units were German made, and extremely well built. This machine is 100 % complete with the exception of the rubber O-ring for the bobbin winder...approximate cost is $1 at any sewing or auto parts store.  The base even has the bobbin thread winder spring tension assembly.....a rarity with a unit this age.  Leather belt included. This machine , complete, weighs in at approximately 200 pounds.  I will remove the head from the base for transport.
